Find your way around

OSERP offers a keyboard-oriented workspace. The exact controls available depend on your role, company configuration, and the screen you have opened.

Confirm your context

Before entering or reconciling information, confirm the active company and period. Similar item names or ledger names across companies do not make the records interchangeable. If a record appears missing, check company and filters before recreating it.

Find a screen

Use the application's navigation or command search where offered. The screen directory gives application paths and the menu permissions declared for each page. Paths such as /inventory/items belong to your OSERP application, not the academy domain.

Screen permission lists use or semantics: one listed permission can make the screen visible. The backend still decides whether each operation is allowed. Permission to view a master does not automatically include permission to edit or delete it.

Browse, view, and edit

Lists find existing records. A record window can be in view mode until you choose Edit. Disabled controls can also depend on record status or an unsaved parent record. In Item Master, for example, several related-record tabs require the item to be saved first.

Before closing an edited window, save or deliberately discard the changes. Do not assume switching tabs saved a record.

Keyboard use

Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between standard controls, and follow the keyboard hints shown by each screen. Shortcuts are contextual: a key used inside a document editor can mean something different in a global search.

Company Setup advertises Alt+Left for Back, Alt+D for Dashboard, Enter for Next, and Ctrl+Enter for Create. Item Master includes a field finder associated with Ctrl+F; it can take you to a field on another tab. Verify the hint in your running release.

Language and reading direction

The application includes English and Arabic interface text. Some identifiers, codes, and amounts deliberately keep left-to-right input even in an Arabic interface. This academy edition is written in English; translated application labels in a screenshot or reference do not imply that the entire academy has an Arabic edition.

Before reporting a problem

Record the screen name, active company, document or item reference, action attempted, current status, and exact error. Capture no password, access token, or unnecessary personal data. These details let another person reproduce the issue without guessing your context.
