Help text and messages
The following wording is embedded in this screen. It describes interface guidance, rather than independently verified system guarantees.
- Which statutory calculations this component counts toward. An earning that feeds none is paid but invisible to PF, ESI and tax.
- Wages in its own right, for the statutory wage definition. "Outside remuneration" excludes it from the test entirely — a reimbursement of actual expense, not an allowance.
- Part of the rule, not the payslip. PF rounds to the nearest rupee, ESI always up. Rounding at the end instead disagrees with the challan by a few rupees a month.
- The account role this posts through. Accounts resolve by role in GL Mapping; the engine never guesses one.
