Help text and messages
The following wording is embedded in this screen. It describes interface guidance, rather than independently verified system guarantees.
- No transfers yet. Click + New Transfer.
- Posting date decides which financial period the journal lands in. Document date is when the paperwork was raised; expected delivery is when the branch should see it.
- Note for this step (optional)
- Bins are printed on the pick list for the storeman. Stock is held per warehouse, so a bin does not change the quantities.
- Dispatch moves the value into Stock in Transit; receipt takes it out into the destination. A transfer moves value at cost and never touches profit.
- One item per line: code, then quantity, separated by a tab or a comma. Paste straight from a spreadsheet. Rows that cannot be matched are listed back — nothing is guessed.
- Everything dispatched is counted as arrived unless you say otherwise. Anything short is written off to Transfer Variance at the cost it left, so Stock in Transit clears.
- Dispatch takes the stock out of the source and into Stock in Transit. Receipt puts it into the destination at the same cost.
Verification still required
Business purpose for each control, dynamically generated fields, backend limits, saved defaults, permission combinations, audit effects, and complete workflow outcomes require manual review against the published application.
